Implementation

Implementation of Century Systems solutions includes project requirements definition, software configuration, system review and end-user/administrator training. Century Systems is experienced in project management and employs a set methodology to achieve success in systems implementations.

Requirements for the project are defined by a senior level Project Team that comprises a stakeholder from each of the company’s operational areas and a Century Systems’ Implementation Specialist. The Project Team will analyze the business needs and determine the requirements of each of the system stakeholders. Once the analysis and requirements definition phase is completed a project path is defined.

Configuration of the system is completed using the Fusion administrator built into our software. The System Administrator (typically a Geologist, GIS Specialist or I.T. Representative) will work with the Century Systems Implementation Specialist to configure the software based on the outcome of the requirements definition phase. Once configuration is complete, a system review is conducted with the entire Project Team.  

System Administrator is involved in all aspects of the Implementation. The administrator’s training includes configuration and support of Century Systems enhanced application security, software and database installation, system maintenance, back-up scheduling and the online Century Support System (CSS) for reporting and reviewing issues. The system is easily administered and requires no or minimal maintenance.  

Users are trained on job-specific tasks. Users are introduced to the entire system, and how their roles fit into the grand solution scheme. Century Systems’ software has been described by many of our existing clients as “easy to learn and use”.

Support systems are in place to assist our clients with any problems they may face while using our software. System Administrators are trained on the Century Support System (CSS), which is an online web-based issue-tracking database. CSS is equipped to allow our users to report issues, request enhancements and review the status of current and past support calls.
